TIPS:
-Purchase a balloon to tie to your stroller. Even if parking in stroller parking, cast members may organize the stroller and you’ll find yours in a different spot. The balloon makes it easier to find & adds some Disney Magic to your day.
-Screenshot your plans for each day & set as your phone’s lock screen to make it easy to access while saving your phone battery.
-Purchase a refillable popcorn bucket on day 1 for a fun souvenir & an affordable snack option all week long.
-Plan to arrive at each park 1 hour before opening. Disney Resort guests get to enter the parks 30 minutes early so take advantage of this time with low crowds!
-Always check the MDE app for most updated park hours, parades, fireworks, shows, entertainment times, etc.
-Rider height requirements can be found here.
-Information about rider swap (used for children to little to ride) can be found here.
ROPE DROP:
-For your best chance at cutting line time short on some of the most popular rides, we recommend ROPE DROPPING. This means arrive to the park EARLY, then head to your rope drop ride. Often times they let guests start riding before the park officially opens so arriving early is key. It’s called rope drop because before the park opens for the day, parts of the park actually have a rope blocking them off to guests. Cast members will walk this rope back as the lines start to form and rides are opening for the day.
TOURING PLANS:
-We recommend having a plan for your MUST ride rides by rope dropping them or hopping in line at the end of the day when lines are generally shorter. As long as you’re in line before park closes, you should be able to ride.
