Want the perfect escape from the busyness of the parks and a true escape? Animal Kingdom Lodge is our favorite place to unwind and escape in luxury. You’ll love the up close experiences with the savanna and the amazing dining options to choose from. (Some of our very favorite dining options on all of Disney property!) For the best Animal Kingdom Lodge experience, we recommend booking the savanna view. We love: the pools, the animals, the FOOD! Keep in mind, you are a bit away from the other parks so transportation to all parks is a bus ride away (and no balloons on property please).

We LOVE Grand Floridian Resort for its gorgeous theming, proximity to Magic Kingdom (you can walk there in about 10 minutes), Monorail (hello, easy access to EPCOT!), great dining and shopping right on site, and so much more! If you asked my kids’ their favorite thing about staying at Grand Floridan, they would hands down vote for the pool… or should I say pools. With so many great options (including a fun waterslide), they could spend days here and never get bored (we know from experience). :) You’ll love the newly renovated rooms here and excellent food options. This one is voted a favorite among most agents on our team and all guests who choose to spend their stay here.

On the opposite side of Magic Kingdom from Grand Floridian, you can walk the same amount of time and find the Contemporary just as close! Guests love this quick and easy walking path (as well as boat rides & monorail) to the park. The newly refurbished Incredibles themed rooms are a guest favorite (check them out in the video on this page). With Chef Mickey’s at the main hub of the resort (where you’ll also see the Monorail go THROUGH the resort), and exquisite dining options with fireworks viewing, you’ll find great dining options without leaving the resort at all.

Another top favorite of the JSM team, Polynesian is the perfect escape from the busy parks where you’ll leave ready to book that trip to Disney’s Aulani for more of the Polynesian experience! With great dining, pools and can’t be beat theming (check out the newly refurbished Moana themed rooms in the video), this resort is definitely one we find ourselves going back to over and over again. You’ll love the monorail (to EPCOT & Magic Kingdom) and the boat ride to Magic Kingdom. Don’t forget to see how many Dole Whips you can get while staying here!
