Dining Reservations.

Starting 60 days before departure you can make Advanced Dining Reservations (ADRs) for the length of your stay (up to 10 days). These reservations include popular table service meals like Cinderella's Royal Table, Be Our Guest Restaurant, & Topolinos.

  • -Enjoy sitting down for an extended period of time for a meal (consider scheduling these during a time of day when you’ll be ready for a sit down break).
-Have specific characters they MUST see. (Please note, character greetings are currently modified so while you’ll be able to see them & take a distanced photo, there are still no hugs or autographs.)
-Have a budget for reserved dining. (Please note, many dining reservations can be $30-$80 per guest. Before making dining requests, you can view menus & pricing at Disneyworld.com.)

  • -Are on the go or only have a few days in the parks & prefer not waiting for dining & then spending extra time at a restaurant.
-Plan to budget less money on food (ordering groceries to your resort is another great way to save on food).
-Like the convenience of everyone being able to mobile order what they want, when they want it.

  • -Want to experience the best dining options while maximizing their Disney dollars.
(Dining plans not currently available. Ask your travel advisor for more information.)

Please note that some reservations require the payment be made in full at time of reserving and most require a credit card to hold the reservation. If your vacation package includes a dining plan or pixie dust plan and you would like your travel advisor to book your dining reservations, you will need to:
-Fill out the CC authorization form BEFORE your ADR day.
-Schedule a date to discuss your ADR wishes approximately a week ahead of your ADR day.
-Provide your advisor with your My Disney Experience (MDE) app username and password.

Many of the popular reservations are hard to get (even at the 60 day mark) so it is very important to plan early and get these made!

Check out our favorites list or research your own and “favorite” the restaurants you want to grab on Disney World website.

FAQs:

Q: Do I NEED dining reservations?

A: Definitely not! I go all the time without any reservations and haven't gone hungry yet! :) There are lots of quick service options that are easy to get and offer amazing food!

Q: How much are meals at _____?

A: You can find menus and sample pricing for most restaurants on disneyworld.com. Many reserved dining options will be on the pricier side. Most ranging $40-$80/person.

Q: Is dining at ______ worth it?

A: This one is up to each individual family. Pre covid, we saw more interaction at the character meals (hugs, characters sitting with guests and chatting for quite awhile, etc). Currently, it's more of a "passby" greeting from a distance which is similar to what you'll see in the parks. With character lines being much shorter now, I don't feel like character dining is as big of a wish list item for my family as it used to be. Other dining options I think it's a good idea to check prices and read reviews online to decide what works with your wants and fits in your budget. I've traveled on a dining plan and had reservations every day, traveled without and done Amazon Prime Now groceries (& fed kids PB & J sandwiches all week long), and done every option in between. There really isn't a bad way to do Disney when it comes to the food! If skipping actual meals and filling up on amazing Disney snacks all week long is your style, I wont judge!! :)

Q: How do I book dining?

A:

  1. Go to “My Plans” then “Add Dining” from there (for some reason, this trick seems to work best!")

  2. Select your date and a specific time (as opposed to selecting a meal like breakfast). It will give you a range of options around that time frame. If several options to choose from, you can select it and see even more times to grab.

  3. CANCEL any reservations you don’t plan to use. If you don’t show up for a reservation & don’t cancel, they will charge you a no show fee. Read terms/conditions when booking for how far ahead of time you need to cancel to avoid getting charged. Typically the day before.

If you aren’t able to booking reserved dining options, no worries! There are some great quick service options too! You can find these on our park guides.
